A Top CPA firm in the Portland, OR area is looking to add a Tax Manager to their team. This stable and growing firm offers clients valuable knowledge and expertise in tax. Due to the recent growth of the firm, there is an opportunity for a Tax Manager to join a team of highly motivated staff.
Tax Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage tax compliance, reporting, and filing processes for clients.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Review and analyze complex tax issues and provide recommendations.
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals.
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients on tax-related matters.
Tax Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- Must have CPA
- 5+ years of proven experience in public accounting
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Tax Manager Compensation:
- $110,000-150,000
- Excellent benefits package
