We are actively seeking a Tax Manager to join our stellar tax division. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned tax professional seeking to apply their expertise in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be a Tax Manager or Senior Manager with a strong background in C-Corps, S-Corps, Partnerships, Fiduciary income tax, and Non-Profit sectors. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and management for both the company and clients.
2. Providing expert advice on tax laws and regulations, including C-Corps, S-Corps, Partnerships, and Fiduciary income tax.
3. Working closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
4. Managing and mentoring a team of tax professionals, fostering a supportive and high-performing work environment.
5. Conducting thorough research to identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiency improvements.
6. Liaising with external auditors and tax authorities.
7. Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and ensuring the company's compliance.
8. Assisting with the preparation and review of non-profit tax returns.
Qualifications:
1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a must.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax manager or similar role, preferably within the finance industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including expertise in C-Corps, S-Corps, Partnerships, Fiduciary income tax, and Non-Profit.
4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
7. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently.
9. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
10. High level of integrity and professionalism.
