TAX MANAGER - PHOENIX or TUCSON, AZ (Hybrid/Fully Remote on a case by case basis)
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
* CPA license
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or higher
* 5+ years of experience with Tax work at Public Accounting firms
* Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management and communication skills
* Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning, while displaying the appropriate ethical standards
* Experience with local, state & federal tax, tax reconciliations, journal entries and fixed asset depreciation
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload and stay organized
* Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Computers/Accounting Software in general

Job Details
TAX MANAGER - PHOENIX or TUCSON, AZ (Hybrid/Fully Remote on a case by case basis)
Responsibilities:
- Act as a valued tax business advisor, focusing on day to day tax matters with various clients
- Become a trusted member of the engagement team providing various federal tax compliance and consulting services to industry clients
- Consult on technical matters and special projects in various areas and with flow through taxation, accounting methods and ASC740
- Research various tax matters, respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries, and make recommendations to the client for consideration
- Assist with managing client engagement staffing, billings/collections and ensure client profitability targets are met
- Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and the community
- Invest in your professional development individually and through participation in firm wide learning/development programs
