Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of tax-related matters for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in tax filings.
- Provide expert tax advice and guidance to clients, analyzing their financial information, business objectives, and industry-specific regulations to develop effective tax strategies.
- Stay abreast of the latest tax laws, regulations, and industry trends, proactively advising clients on potential impacts and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including tax professionals, accountants, and consultants, to deliver comprehensive solutions that address clients' tax needs and align with their broader financial goals.
- Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster their professional growth and ensure consistent high-quality deliverables.
- Conduct thorough reviews of tax returns, financial statements, and related documentation to ensure accuracy, identify potential risks or opportunities, and maintain compliance with applicable tax laws.
- Represent clients during tax audits, working closely with tax authorities to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for all tax-related inquiries, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- CPA Certification (Preferred): We highly value individuals who have earned their CPA certification. Possessing a deep understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations, you will bring an elevated level of expertise to our team. While a CPA is preferred, we also consider exceptional candidates who are actively pursuing their certification.
- Extensive Tax Experience: You should have a proven track record of success in tax management, with substantial experience in tax planning, compliance, and research. Your comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations will allow you to navigate complexities and deliver exceptional solutions to our diverse clientele.
- Exceptional Client Service Skills: As a Preferred CPA Tax Manager, you will be a trusted advisor to our valued clients. Your exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, will enable you to build strong client relationships, effectively convey complex tax concepts, and provide tailored solutions that align with their unique goals and needs.
- Leadership and Team Management: Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team are highly desired. Your ability to motivate and inspire colleagues, foster collaboration, and guide the professional growth of your team members will be critical to our firm's success.
