Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Tax Manager to join our dynamic Finance industry team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing the tax compliance and planning functions for our organization. You will work closely with our accounting and finance teams to ensure that all tax-related matters are handled efficiently and effectively. This is a permanent position that offers excellent growth opportunities and a competitive salary package.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits for the organization.
- Manage the preparation and filing of all tax returns, including federal, state, and local taxes.
- Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations, and keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Review and analyze financial statements and tax returns to identify potential tax issues and opportunities for tax savings.
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors, and oversee the preparation of tax provisions and disclosures.
- Provide guidance and support to accounting and finance teams on tax-related matters, including tax accounting, tax reporting, and tax compliance.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as required, including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and other transactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or tax management.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
- Experience with tax software and ERP systems preferred.
