Tax Manager Qualifications

• CPA certification (required)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s in Taxation or MBA preferred
• 5+ years of experience in a tax role, preferably with a public accounting firm or a large corporation
• Extensive knowledge of Pass-thru entities (S corp and Partnership) high-net-worth individuals
  
  

Tax Manager Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance: Ensure the company is compliant with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Tax Planning: Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax liability.
• Tax Reporting: Oversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns, including corporate, partnership, and sales tax.
• Audit Management: Lead and coordinate tax audits and liaise with tax authorities.
