Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the preparation and review of our clients' federal, state, and local income tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Conduct tax research and interpret tax laws and regulations to provide guidance on tax-related matters.
- Manage client relationships.
- Develop and mentor members of the tax team to help meet their career goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Must be a current CPA.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a tax role within a public accounting firm.
- Extensive knowledge of tax compliance, tax planning, tax preparation, tax returns, tax research, and tax accounting.
- Proficiency in federal tax and state income tax.
- Proficiency in tax preparation and research software.
