We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Tax Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills and expertise in tax planning, preparation, and compliance in a rewarding and challenging role.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the preparation of corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns (1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120S).
- Conduct thorough tax research and provide advisory services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance with these laws.
- Liaise with the IRS and other tax authorities on tax audits and disputes, and negotiate favorable resolutions.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting. A Master’s degree in Taxation or a CPA certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of Tax experience in public accounting.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in tax compliance, preparation, research, and advisory.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing tax returns (1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120S).
- Strong understanding of corporate, partnership, trust, and individual taxation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficient in the use of tax preparation and research software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising on the quality of work.
