Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join our award-winning Tax team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all tax-related activities for our organization. This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns, including corporate, individual, partnerships, S-Corps, and C-Corps.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to identify tax planning opportunities and ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards.
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on tax-related issues and assist with tax planning initiatives.
- Manage and oversee all tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
- Ensure accurate and timely tax reporting and compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate any changes to internal stakeholders.
- Manage and oversee the tax team and provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, or a related field. (Masters preferred)
- CPA certification is required.
- 6+ years of experience in tax accounting and compliance, preferably in the public accounting industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and taxation laws and regulations.
- Experience with Corporate tax, Individual tax, Partnerships, S-Corps, C-Corps, Trusts & Estates.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
- Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
