Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Meet monthly and annual charge hour targets; review staff hour reports.
- Analyze Form 1099’s, Payroll Tax Returns, Sales Tax Returns, Business Property Statements, and Business Licenses.
- Assess complex tax returns for various entities, including C-Corporations, Partnerships, S-Corporations, Personal, Non-Profit, and Trusts.
- Review Corporate and Personal tax planning.
- Prepare estate tax plans, specialized partnership allocations, stock sales, and ownership changes.
- Represent clients in tax audits.
- Conduct technical research to resolve issues for clients.
- Participate in manager meetings and assigned committees.
- Lead staff meetings and evaluations; manage weekly scheduling and mentoring.
- Hold weekly scheduling check-ins with staff.
- Oversee workflow distribution and scheduling for optimal efficiency.
- Develop firm procedures and exemplify professional conduct and leadership.
- Facilitate training and provide feedback to staff.
- Engage in recruiting events; assist with intern selection, training, and feedback.
- Analyze work-in-progress (WIP) and assist with billing.
- Lead client service meetings and generate new business through networking and marketing.
