Are you an experienced Tax Manager who is passionate about providing top-tier financial services? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you. We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our team in the capacity of a Permanent Tax Manager. This is a hybrid role that will require you to work both on-site and remotely, offering a balance between office and home-based work. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our tax department, providing tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to a diverse range of clients.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Tax Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and overseeing all aspects of tax compliance, including preparation, filing, and reporting for various entities and individuals.
2. Conducting thorough tax planning and forecasting to minimize tax liabilities and ensure optimal financial performance.
3. Providing strategic tax advisory services and making recommendations based on thorough research and analysis.
4. Leading the team in preparing both entity and individual tax returns.
5. Utilizing various software tools, including QuickBooks, Ultra Tax, and Thompson Reuters, to manage and streamline tax processes.
6. Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure tax strategies align with business objectives.
7. Keeping updated with the latest tax laws and regulations and ensuring companywide compliance.
8. Providing ongoing training and support to junior staff members and fostering a positive, productive work environment.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Tax Manager role will possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an Accounting Professional.
2. At least three tax seasons in a CPA practice preparing both entity and individual tax returns.
3. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
4. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Ultra Tax, and Thompson Reuters.
5. Extensive experience in tax planning, compliance, advisory, and preparation.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
8. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in an easily understandable manner.
9. A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and devise effective solutions.
10. A commitment to maintaining the highest levels of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in dealing with sensitive financial information.
