Job Details
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Manage client relationships and work-flow
- Supervise and mentor staff
- Review and/or prepare all types of business, trust and individual tax returns
- Review and/or prepare separate and combined state tax returns for multiple states
- Proficient in preparing and reviewing tax returns for high net worth individuals
- Resolve federal and state tax notices
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations, ability to research tax issues as required
- Prepare foreign bank account reports
- Review client prepared trial balances; prepare adjustments for final tax preparation
- Review sales tax returns for multiple states
- Review year-end accrual entries and trial balances for small businesses
- Preparation and/or review projections of estimated tax and vouchers for clients
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies for individual and business clients
