Job Details
Job Duties:
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of a client’s business and have a wholistic understanding of their financial situation
- Strong understanding of Individual & Business taxation with a focus on HNWI
- Work effectively across company teams to ensure tax strategies are aligned with the client’s financial objectives
- Prepare research memoranda, written correspondence/guidance and other documents for submission to the IRS and other taxing authorities
- Train/supervise staff and review/evaluate their work
- Manages multiple client relationships
- Handle federal, state and local tax audits
Qualifications:
- Active CPA and/or EA license
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Accounting or related Business field
- 5+ years of Public Accounting experience
- Strong accounting, analytical and research skills
- Tax Audit experience
- Experience working in RIA space or directly with financial advisors is a plus
- Strong communication skills to build positive work relationships with clients and colleagues
- A go-getter attitude & passion for helping clients achieve their goals
