Job Details
We're looking for a Tax Manager to join our dynamic financial team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for tax regulations, strategic planning, and financial analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax obligations for our high net worth clients, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the preparation and review of tax returns for high net worth individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
2. Conduct thorough tax planning to ensure optimal financial outcomes for clients.
3. Stay abreast of current and emerging tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide accurate, up-to-date advice to clients.
4. Collaborate with other departments to integrate tax strategies into overall financial planning.
5. Manage relationships with external auditors and tax authorities.
6. Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. Minimum of three years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
3. Proven experience managing tax for high net worth individuals and partnerships.
4. In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Exceptional leadership abilities, with a track record of developing and leading high-performance teams.
