Tax Manager - Generalist, Tax Review, S-Corp - CyberCoders

We are a local full service CPA in the north Chicago area and have been in business for 80 years. Construction &Contractors, Real Estate, Manufacturing & Distribution, and Closely held businesses are the industries we service.

What You Will Be Doing

Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate and individual tax services, including planning, research, compliance, and general mergers and acquisitions activities

Handles routine client tax questions, and works with Staff and Seniors to make sure necessary information for tax return completion and compliance

Assist with new business development, extended service and tax issue recognition for existing clients

Manage corporate and individual client needs with respect to tax services and federal and state tax compliance

Develop and sustain strong client relationships

Help develop Senior and Staff accountants both technically and professionally through their career

What You Need for this Position

At least 6 years in public accounting with an emphasis in taxation

Experienced with both S Corp, C-Corp, and Partnerships

CPA license

M.S. in Taxation is preferred

** Managers are expected to work in office 2 days per week for first 1-2 months of training, Tax staff and seniors are expected to work in office 3 days per week for first 6 months. After your respective training period, you will be allowed to work remote**
