We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Tax Manager to join our firm. This position will play an integral role in the tax function of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related activities, including compliance, planning, and research, and tax return preparations. The Tax Manager will also be responsible for reviewing financial statements and ensuring that all tax obligations are met in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires a strong understanding of tax law and a proven track record of managing multiple tax-related projects and tasks.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all tax compliance activities, ensuring adherence to all local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
2. Lead tax planning initiatives and strategies to optimize tax liabilities and ensure maximum profitability.
3. Conduct thorough tax research to stay abreast of current tax laws and regulations and to identify potential tax savings opportunities.
4. Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws.
5. Review and analyze financial statements for tax implications, making recommendations as necessary.
6. Provide expert tax advice and guidance to senior management, making recommendations on tax-related matters.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and ensure that the organization is in compliance with all tax obligations.
8. Develop and implement efficient tax processes and procedures, and ensure that all tax-related documentation is properly maintained and organized.
9. Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. A Master's degree in Taxation or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax management role within the finance industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of tax law, tax compliance, tax planning, and tax research is required.
4. Proven experience in preparing and reviewing complex individual and business tax returns.
5. Strong understanding of financial statements and their tax implications.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-informed decisions.
7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax information to non-tax professionals.
9. Proficiency with tax software and other financial software applications.
10. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
