The ideal candidate is a Tax Manager with 6+ years of experience specializing in partnership and S-Corp tax returns. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting high-level technical reviews of tax returns and their accompanying workpapers. Additionally, we may task you with reviewing individual returns, trusts, tax-exempt returns, and more, depending on your experience. Rest assured, if you lack experience in these areas, we'll provide comprehensive training.
Furthermore, you will oversee and train our dedicated staff, scrutinize entity returns and workpapers, and collaborate closely with our Partners.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-level technical reviews of complex entity tax returns and associated workpapers.
- Review individual, fiduciary, and tax-exempt returns (as applicable) or receive training if needed.
- Supervise and mentor staff members.
- Stay current with industry regulations and maintain expertise through continuous education.
- Requirements for Tax Manager:
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in public accounting or consulting, focusing on private client services.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
- Master's degree in Taxation or MBA.
- Preferred experience working for a Big 4 or a large national/regional accounting firm.
- Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to create and review advanced workpapers.
- Strong background in private client services, including personal taxation, trust taxation, estate & gift taxation, charitable taxation, and exposure to partnership and corporate taxation.
- Experience in reviewing tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, their trusts, investment entities, and private businesses.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to effectively convey complex information and tax laws.
