- Owner bought the firm in 2020 (although it's been around for years), very low turnover with a family oriented and flexible culture, many employees have been there 10+ years
- Relative to a larger firm you'll get a lot of diversity here and not be pigeonholed, broad range of clients and industries including construction, professional services, real estate, etc.

- Can be in office, hybrid, or remote based on candidate location
- The Tax Manager will prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Timely filing of all tax documents and payments
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to provide tax advice on operations
- Conduct research on various tax issues
- Prepare and assist with tax audits
- The Tax Manager will respond to inquiries from tax authorities and resolve and tax related issues
- Team management - supervise and mentor junior tax staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related
- Certification - CPA is required
- Experience in tax related roles often in public accounting or corporate tax departments
- Technical skills - proficiency in tax software, UltraTax CS and other accounting systems as well as strong analytical and research skills
- Time management skills - prioritize projects and manage critical deadlines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
