Job Details
Our client, a leading finance industry player, is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax compliance and planning, as well as providing strategic advice to the business. Responsibilities:
- Manage all tax compliance activities, including the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liability and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide advice and guidance to the business on tax-related matters, including the tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors and authorities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Oversee the preparation and review of tax provisions and related financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations, and communicate the impact of these changes to the business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA qualification is essential.
- 4+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax.
- Experience in both audit and tax is preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
