We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Tax Senior to join our team in the Finance industry. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of corporate tax and tax preparation. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex tax returns and ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant tax laws.
- Research, analyze, and interpret tax legislation to provide advice and recommendations to clients.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and propose strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline tax procedures and ensure all tax-related issues are addressed promptly.
- Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax audit support for clients.
- Stay updated with changes in tax legislation and communicate the implications to clients and team members.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Participate in business development initiatives, fostering and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and corporate tax.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax codes, regulations, and procedures.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
