Title: Tax Manager
Location: Onsite within the Southeastern Region
Description:
The Tax Manager will provide expert tax advice, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and identify strategies to maximize tax savings for clients. This leadership role involves training and mentoring staff, managing client relationships, and contributing to process improvements to enhance team performance and service delivery.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a key member of the leadership team, overseeing the training and development of staff.
Manage client engagements, maintain strong relationships, and provide tailored tax advice.
Review and prepare federal and state corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns.
Review and prepare income tax provisions for corporate clients.
Conduct tax consulting and research on state, local, domestic, and international tax matters.
Support clients in various industries, including financial services, manufacturing, technology, and distribution.
Develop and implement tax plans, identify process improvement opportunities, and assess areas of risk.
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience preparing federal and state income tax returns.
1–2 years of experience reviewing income tax returns.
CPA license preferred.
Experience with CCH Axcess and ProSystem Fx Engagement preferred.
Employment Type:
Full-Time
Compensation:
Pay range: $75k-$125k/year
