Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 per year

We are a growing 100% cloud-based tax advisory firm specializing in high-level strategic tax planning for healthcare professionals and affluent business owners all over the U.S.
We are looking for a knowledgeable, take-charge personality to lead the Tax department. This position will supervise other team members, run the operation of the tax department, assist with technical work, and assist management with determining the needs of their department. There is room for growth in this position with a partnership track to the right candidate.

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with 7+ years of experience in a public accountant role and at least 2 years of experience in a management role. Preferred candidates have a current CPA license and a master’s degree in an accounting discipline.
Experience with medical professionals desired but not required
Experience using QuickBooks Online, Gusto, Excel, and Google Sheets
Excellent communication skills with team members and clients
Must have a take-charge, get things done attitude
Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance, and procedures for corporations.
Familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
Solid financial accounting background and understanding of financial statements (GAAP)
Strong experience with a variety of accounting operations and ability to drive process improvements.
Strong ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices to organize and prioritize tasks and the tasks of other team members.
Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with clients and team members
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
