We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join our firm. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing innovative tax solutions in a fast-paced and challenging environment. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing tax-related matters, demonstrating a high level of competence, and delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of tax planning, tax compliance, and tax advisory services for a diverse portfolio of clients.
2. Prepare and review complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
3. Conduct thorough tax research to identify and resolve tax-related issues, providing expert advice to clients to optimize their tax position.
4. Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize client profitability.
5. Maintain strong client relationships, providing timely and responsive client service, and managing client expectations effectively.
6. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of tax processes and procedures.
7. Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring that clients are informed and their tax strategies are updated accordingly.
8. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior tax staff, promoting a culture of learning and development within the team.
9. Collaborate with other departments to integrate tax considerations into overall business strategies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a CPA designation is highly desirable.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, with a focus on tax planning, tax compliance, tax advisory, and tax research.
3. Demonstrated expertise in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns.
4. Strong knowledge of tax accounting principles and procedures.
5. Excellent research skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex tax laws and regulations.
6. Exceptional client service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
7. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
10. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
