Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Director to join our growing accounting firm.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize the organization's tax liability
- Manage and oversee all tax-related activities within the organization
- Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations
- Review and analyze tax returns and financial statements
- Conduct tax research and provide guidance to the finance team
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors
- Provide tax planning advice to senior management
- Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals
- Maintain current knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Develop and implement tax policies and procedures
- Prepare and present tax reports to senior management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification required
- Experience with CCH ProSystems
- 15+ years of experience in tax accounting and tax planning
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Experience with tax research and analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
