We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and experienced Permanent Tax Director (ASC 740) to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's tax functions, including international and federal tax provisions, ensuring compliance with ASC 740, and auditing. This is an excellent opportunity for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, who is looking to take their career to the next level.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Tax Director (ASC 740), your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the preparation and review of the company's quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740.
2. Ensuring timely and accurate filing of all international and federal tax returns.
3. Developing and implementing effective tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
4. Leading and managing the tax team to ensure efficiency and productivity.
5. Collaborating with the finance team and other departments to provide tax advice and guidance on business decisions and transactions.
6. Liaising with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure the company's tax positions are well supported and documented.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Permanent Tax Director (ASC 740), candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the finance industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of ASC 740 and experience with tax provisions.
