As a Tax Controversy Attorney, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Providing expert legal counsel to clients on a wide array of tax controversy matters.
2. Representing clients in disputes with the IRS and other tax authorities.
3. Conducting in-depth research and analysis of complex tax laws and regulations.
4. Developing and implementing effective tax controversy strategies.
5. Negotiating settlements and resolutions with tax authorities on behalf of clients.
6. Preparing and presenting oral and written arguments before tax courts.
7. Keeping abreast of the latest developments in tax law and policy.
8. Collaborating with other attorneys, accountants, and tax professionals to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
To be considered for the role of Tax Controversy Attorney, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 1 years of experience as a tax attorney, with a focus on tax controversy matters.
3. Admission to a state bar and good standing.
4. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
5. Proven experience in representing clients in disputes with the IRS and other tax authorities.
6. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
7. Exceptional negotiation and advocacy skills.
8. Strong written and oral communication skills.
