Express Employment of Tarrytown NY is looking for Tax Auditors for the upcoming season in Westchester NY.  Our clients pride themselves on offering personalized and efficient services to their diverse client base. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Auditor  to join our team for the upcoming tax season.

Job Description: As a Tax Auditor, you will:

• Conduct audits of tax returns, financial statements, and other records to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
• Review and analyze financial documents to identify discrepancies and potential tax liabilities.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
• Advise clients on tax-related issues and provide recommendations for tax planning and compliance.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax auditing or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
