Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year

Top Regional CPA Firm is looking to bring on a Tax Associate ( 1-3 years of experience) to their team!
Ideally this would be someone with 1-3 busy seasons under their belt. They are open to hybrid work but the person does need to live within reasonable commuting distance to the office in downtown Hickory and be willing to come to the office as needed.

Position Summary
The ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years of public accounting experience, a strong commitment to client service, attention to detail, ability to problem solve, and will be proactive with advice.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide tax and business advisory services to closely-held businesses with a strong background in Individuals, Partnerships, and S Corporations
· Provide exemplary service to clients
· Assist with onboarding new clients
· Collaborate with tax team members
· Build client relationships with business owners, CFOs, and Controllers
· Evaluate tax service procedures and recommend improvements
· Manage multiple projects and engagement teams for various clients
Education and Certifications:
· BS in Accounting required
· CPA Certification or actively pursuing preferred
· Master’s in accounting preferred
