About the Job
Kforce's client, a leading New York City based full-service CPA firm is seeking a Tax Administrator. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in office (and additional days during peak of tax seasons). Key Tasks:
- The Tax Administrator will manage staffing issues, working with Tax Partners to find solutions for workload balancing; Serve as point of contact with tax staff on issues including workload/time management, scheduling, and professional development
- Act as a liaison for Tax Partners to mediate conflicts and resolve resource needs
- Manage/oversee the firm's tax workflow processes including changes such as new clients, dissolved; Oversee/manage annual CPE requirements for the tax department, including suggestions for courses and training
- Assist with the development and publication of the firm's client tax updates and memos
- Oversee and manage the firm's administrative tax staff; Assist with the recruitment of tax staff, bookkeeping staff, and administrative tax staff and assist with performance reviews
- As a Tax Administrator, you will develop, administer and/or participate in orientation programs for new hires
- Manage/oversee the client e-signature and e-filing processes
- Manage and maintain the firm's paperless document management system
- Bachelor's degree
- CPA is a plus
- 5+ years of experience working in the tax department of a CPA firm
- Must be highly organized and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
