Tax Admin Receptionist
An Accounting firm is seeking a Tax Admin Receptionist to help in their front office. Someone eager that can follow directions and assist the staff. This is an on-site part time position with a possibility of additional hours during tax season. The right candidate will have a strong attention to detail and have a strong independent work ethic.
Job Description (including but limited to the following):
- The candidate will assist with front office duties such as answering phones, greeting clients, announcing appointment arrivals
- Scanning documents as needed
- Accurate data entry as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of transactions in multiple databases and files
- There will be other administrative duties as required.
Skills and Requirements:
- Attention to detail
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks software is a plus.
- Results oriented individual with strong customer service skills and a courteous telephone manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Preferred 2+ years of office experience.
- Some tax accounting experience is helpful
- Good P/C skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, maybe some Outlook) and accurate 10 key, typing and data entry skills
- Good understanding of standard office procedures and practices.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished
- Excellent organization skills.
- Able to carry out multiple assignments concurrently.
- Ability to be an effective team member and handle assignments responsibly.
- May be required to be available for additional hours during tax season
This temporary assignment is available now and located in the San Fernando Valley area. There may be a possibility of the assignment being extended or possible Temp to Hire. The pay range is between $19-20 hourly.
