We are currently seeking an experienced Tax Accounting Manager to join our team, with the opportunity to fast-track to partnership.
Position Overview:
The Tax Accounting Manager will lead our tax department, oversee client accounts, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. This role requires a seasoned tax professional with strong leadership abilities, a client-focused mindset, and a commitment to excellence. You’ll work closely with the managing partner and contribute directly to the firm’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee tax preparation, review, and filing for clients, including 1040, 1041, 1120, 1120S, 1065, and 990 returns.
- Provide high-level tax management, including budgeting, forecasting, and client advisory services.
- Supervise and mentor a small team of tax professionals, ensuring high-quality service and development.
- Collaborate with other departments on tax planning and client engagement strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and industry trends.
Requirements:
- CPA certification required.
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting with a focus on corporate tax.
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficiency in CCH, UltraTax, and Thomson Reuters software.
- Strong communication and client management skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $130k-$150k with a partnership track opportunity.
