This is a full-time onsite role for a Tax Accounting Manager.The Tax Accounting Manager will play a key role in preparing and reviewing tax returns, consulting with clients, and ensuring compliance with the latest tax regulations.

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Must-Haves:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience preparing the following tax returns: 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, 990, 709, and 1041.
- CPA or EA certification.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
- Willingness to work onsite (not a remote role).
- Ability to meet with clients in person and virtually.
Good-to-Have:
- CPA certification preferred.
- Experience preparing 706 tax returns.
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients.
- Proficiency in UltraTax CS.
Job Description:
This is a full-time onsite role for a Tax Accounting Manager.The Tax Accounting Manager will play a key role in preparing and reviewing tax returns, consulting with clients, and ensuring compliance with the latest tax regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare individual, small business, and nonprofit tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, 990, 709, and 1041) from initial client meeting through electronic filing.
- Create and analyze financial statements, journal entries, and financial data.
- Manage fixed assets and review the accounting work and tax returns prepared by other accountants.
- Provide tax consultation and planning services to clients in person and virtually.
- Research and apply tax reduction strategies while staying updated on IRS guidelines and relevant legislation.
- Collect and analyze financial and operational data for small businesses, offering recommendations for improvement.
- Build and nurture client relationships and support business growth efforts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of tax preparation experience.
- Proven experience preparing various tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 990, 706, 1041, and 1065).
- Experience with high-net-worth or high-income clients is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- CPA or EA certification (required); CPA preferred.
- Experience using UltraTax CS (preferred).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required).
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for positive client outcomes.
