Are you a seasoned Tax Accountant with a knack for numbers and a passion for financial accuracy? We are seeking an experienced Permanent Tax Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. This role is an excellent opportunity to utilize your tax preparation and planning skills in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:
1. Preparing and filing accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
2. Conducting thorough tax planning to optimize clients' financial situations and ensure compliance with tax laws.
3. Researching and interpreting tax laws and regulations to keep abreast of changes that may affect clients.
4. Assisting in tax audits and resolving tax disputes.
5. Providing guidance and advice on tax-related issues to clients.
6. Collaborating with other members of the accounting team to ensure financial operations run smoothly.
7. Maintaining strict confidentiality and exercising discretion when handling client information.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting.
2. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
3. Proven experience in preparing and filing tax returns for both individuals and businesses.
4. Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. Proficiency in tax preparation software and other accounting tools.
