Duties

Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses
Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
Assist clients with tax planning and strategies to minimize tax liabilities
Provide guidance on tax implications of business transactions and investments
Prepare financial statements and reports related to tax matters
Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to gather necessary information for tax filings
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and timely reporting

Job Details

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
CPA certification preferred
Proven experience in tax accounting or related field
Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices
Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements
Proficient in asset management and financial report writing
Experience with financial software such as QuickBooks
Solid understanding of financial concepts, including GAAP
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations
Ability to interpret financial reports and provide meaningful insights
Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members
