Our Accounting & Finance Staffing team is currently looking to speak with candidates who would be a good fit for roles with the specifications below:
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of all tax return types (i.e., personal, corporate, partnership, estate/trust, Gift, Not-for-profit, etc.)
- Preparation and review of corporate, S-corporation, partnership, and fiduciary returns
- Prepare Payroll and Sales tax returns
- Prepare reports and financial analysis for clients and Partners as needed
- Communicate progress of engagements, issues, and resolutions to clients through written and verbal correspondence
- Anticipate problem areas of engagement and develop procedures to address relevant issues; keep supervisors informed of important developments and recommend solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- CPA or advanced certification in Tax Accounting preferred
- 4-6+ years of Tax Accounting/ Accounting firm experience
- Understanding of tax concepts related to individuals, C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, estates, and trusts
- Strong technical skills in accounting and tax preparation of individual, partnership, and corporation returns; Fiduciary return preparation a plus
- Advanced knowledge of applicable tax codes and in changes to the tax code.
- High proficiency working with the necessary software used in tax preparation
