Client Overview:
Our client, a leading retail company specializing in providing high-quality products at competitive prices. Our client has grown from a single storefront to a multi-channel retailer with a strong presence both online and offline. They are seeking a Tax Accountant to join their team!
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$40 – $45/hr
Position Overview:
This role is an open ended contract. A Tax Accountant is responsible for preparing and filing state and federal tax documents for individuals and businesses. The Tax Accountant ensure compliance with tax laws, help clients with tax planning, and minimize tax liabilities through informed application of tax regulations.

Qualifications for the Tax Accountant:
- Sales and Use tax experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws
- Proficiency in tax preparation software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- CPA or other relevant certification is preferred
