The Talent Manager will collaborate closely with director-level leadership and the operator to ensure seamless on-boarding, orientation, and training of team members and shift leaders. This role focuses on maintaining operational efficiency by developing and implementing training schedules, managing team member schedules to align with staffing needs, and ensuring consistent application of Chick-fil-A’s service standards and operational processes. This role is focused on operations, with the Talent Manager expected to engage directly with team members both on the floor and in the kitchen. The Talent Manager serves as a bridge between leadership and team members, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and excellence in service.This position requires full-time availability Monday through Friday, and flexibility for early mornings and Saturdays. Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- This role focuses on hands-on leadership, working closely with team members, and being deeply involved in both kitchen operations and delivering an exceptional guest experience
- Talent Recruitment and Development: Recruit, train, and cultivate top talent to build a high-performing team
- Demonstrated knowledge of general HR policies, procedures and practices
- This is a full-time role requiring 35-50 hours per week, with a significant portion of time spent actively working on the floor alongside team members to support operations
- Hiring Process Management: Oversee recruitment efforts, guide candidates through the hiring process, and schedule and conduct interviews using hiring platform software.
- On-boarding and Training: Facilitate on-boarding programs, orientation sessions, and training schedules to prepare team members for success.
- Team Performance Strategies: Implement initiatives to enhance team performance, align with goals, and foster professional growth.
- Positive Work Environment: Promote an inclusive and supportive workplace culture that reflects Chick-fil-A's core values
- Employee Engagement: Partner with leadership to drive engagement, motivation, and team collaboration.

- Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to food safety, compliance regulations, and Chick-fil-A brand standards.
- Uniform and Essentials Management: Manage the ordering and distribution of team member uniforms and essential items.
- Payroll System Oversight: Administer and manage the restaurant's payroll system efficiently and accurately.
Outcomes or Measures of Success
- Retention and Engagement: Successfully implement retention strategies by contributing to team engagement initiatives, ensuring high morale, and overseeing smooth off-boarding processes for departing team members.
- Fair Workweek Law Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to Fair Workweek regulations by consistently monitoring scheduling practices, addressing changes or requests promptly, and ensuring compliance with all related requirements.
- Growth-Oriented Culture: Foster a growth mindset among team members and shift leaders, encouraging professional development and preparing them for future leadership roles.
- Operational Consistency: Ensure accuracy and compliance in payroll, training records, timekeeping, and attendance management by adhering to established administrative processes and maintaining regular oversight.
Qualifications:
- Impeccable organization skills and strong proficiency with excel, spreadsheets, data logging among other administrative task
- Must a college degree (Bachelors degree strongly preferred)
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in team leadership
- Human Resource/Talent Management experience in the restaurant industry is preferred
- Familiarity with Fair Workweek laws is preferred
- Bilingual - English and Spanish Speaking (recommended)
