Jobot is partnering with a growing manufacturing company to staff a position as a Talent Management Specialist. The Talent Management Specialist will be responsible for the following:
Talent Review & Succession Planning
Performance Management
Learning & Development
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
Philanthropy & Community Involvement
Early Career Development & College Relations (Partner schools, interns & apprenticeships)
Culture & Engagement
Employer Branding (In close collaboration with Talent Acquisition as a shared responsibility.)
Internal Branding (In close collaboration with HRBPs as a shared responsibility.)
Orientation & Onboarding
Partners with HRBPs on topics including onboarding, learning & development, training, performance management, talent review, culture & engagement, philanthropy, and early career development.
Partners with Total Rewards & People Services HR information systems including talent platform and provides important survey insights that may impact employee compensation and benefits.
Partners with Talent Acquisition in support of employer branding, career fairs and campus recruiting, and general talent insights through the recruiting process.
Partners closely with apprenticeship program manager in the facilitation of program and partnership with local college and state agencies.
If you have at least 5+ years of experience in talent management, Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar, have worked in a COE & HRBP organization model previously, have experience in multiple talent management disciplines at all levels from production to professional level employees, excellent business acumen, are detailed and organized and utilize discretion in all areas of your work, enjoy working in a collaborative environment with a positive team player mentality and thrive in fast paced roles than this could be a great opportunity for you. - Talent Management Specialist acts in a generalist capacity in the areas of:
Talent Review & Succession Planning
Performance Management
Learning & Development
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
Philanthropy & Community Involvement
Early Career Development & College Relations (Partner schools, interns & apprenticeships)
Culture & Engagement
Employer Branding (In close collaboration with Talent Acquisition as a shared responsibility.)

Orientation & Onboarding
- Acts as a partner, advocate, and generalist with all HR COEs (Centers of Excellence).
Partners with HRBPs on topics including onboarding, learning & development, training, performance management, talent review, culture & engagement, philanthropy, and early career development.
Partners with Total Rewards & People Services HR information systems including talent platform and provides important survey insights that may impact employee compensation and benefits.
Partners with Talent Acquisition in support of employer branding, career fairs and campus recruiting, and general talent insights through the recruiting process.
Partners closely with apprenticeship program manager in the facilitation of program and partnership with local college and state agencies.
- Supports roles from entry level production through first or mid-level managers & officials.
- Works closely with the corporate talent management team and drives enterprise wide talent management activities acting as a conduit between local and global HDQ.
- Advises HR team and leadership on talent management best practices, trends, and programs to further advance our employees and, by doing so, advancing the company as a premier employer and supplier to our customers.
- Manages administrative tasks associated with all areas of responsibility.
- Shares in supporting all HR COEs as an advocate, and lending a hand when needed, to assure that we win as a team!
- Provides counseling, training, mentoring, and problem solving for people leaders in a Talent Management Business Partner capacity.
- Must be able provide candid feedback from the employee’s and company’s perspective seamlessly where all matters talent management are concerned.
- Partners with HRBPs and leadership to identify and plan employee development needs and career paths.
- Monitors and develops policies and policy updates from an talent management generalist perspective. Note that specific policy management is spread across each COE as well as the HRBPs.
- Lead and/or participate on various project teams.
- Other duties as assigned.
