In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping our workforce, ensuring we attract and retain the best talent to meet the evolving needs of our business. This position has a hybrid work schedule, reporting onsite to the Corporate Headquarters in Superior, WI a minimum of three days a week.
Job Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all activities related to talent acquisition, initial onboarding, and orientation of new employees. You will leverage industry best practices to attract leading talent while providing strategic insight into talent market trends and their impact on the organization.
Core Responsibilities:
• Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified candidates who align with the organization’s business needs. Design interview guides to properly evaluate candidate values and competencies.
• Onboarding & Orientation: Manage the onboarding process, ensuring new hires are effectively integrated into the organization with a seamless and positive experience.
• Market Expertise: Provide expertise on the talent market, advising hiring managers on trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent availability.
• Candidate Engagement: Build strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a positive candidate experience from initial contact to offer acceptance.
• Collaboration: Partner with HR and department leaders to understand hiring needs, job requirements, and workforce planning.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all recruitment and onboarding activities are compliant with company policies and relevant labor laws. Track, analyze, and report on recruitment metrics to optimize processes and outcomes.
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruiting.
• Proven expertise in leveraging social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, X, Facebook) for candidate sourcing and recruitment.
• Strong proficiency in advanced candidate sourcing techniques, including Boolean search strings, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Search, Google Search, and diversity-focused search strategies.
• Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); experience with Dayforce preferred.
• Familiarity with Affirmative Action principles and compliance with OFCCP (Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs) guidelines is required.
Certificates/Licenses:
• Certified Talent Acquisition Specialist (CTAS) - preferred
• LinkedIn Certified Professional–Recruiter - preferred
• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) - preferred

• Pay type - Salary
• Pay range - $65,800 - $89,000 depending on experience
