Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work closely with department heads regarding recruiting needs.
- Conduct recruitment efforts through full-cycle recruiting and obtain internal referrals.
- Write and place advertisements.
- Schedule/Conduct interviews and manage onboarding.
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
- Maintain human resource information and compile reports.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- You will also be responsible for tracking and reporting (internal and external) sitewide training activities.
- Assist with driving special projects to completion and other relevant tasks as assigned.
- Occasional travel to local branches
- Supporting Central Times Zone and/or Eastern Time Zone
Skills & Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources management, Business Administration or a related field is preferred or commensurate experience.
- 4+ years’ experience in full cycle recruiting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in recruiting, with a focus on sourcing and hiring talent in the building automation, security systems, or life safety industries.
- PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.
- Experience in multiple software recruiting platforms desired.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to deliver effective presentations to staff members.
- Detailed-oriented, accurate, thorough and takes extreme pride in work.
- Strong organizational skills.
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
- Understanding of federal contract requirements.
- Bilingual (Spanish or/French preferred)
Essential Job Functions:
- Be able to lift and carry, drawings, personal computers, material, and spend significant time sitting etc.
- Be able to lift up to 30lbs.
- Be able to spend significant time standing and walking.
- Be able to climb flights of stairs throughout a typical day.
- Maintain a satisfactory driving record which, per Climatec’s vehicle policy, if driving a company vehicle or participating in an auto allowance program.
