Purpose: The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the hiring process within our ATS for open positions while remaining compliant with all EEOC and OFCCP guidelines and record keeping requirements. This role will provide full cycle recruitment of both exempt/non-exempt positions.

Essential Duties:
- Work closely with Hiring Manager(s) to:
- Conduct in-take meetings and continue regular communication throughout entire process
- Develop position profiles to understand overall needs and requirements
- Ensure each position meets company compensation guidelines as well as all applicable Federal and state laws
- Determine appropriate sourcing strategies for each position
- Educate hiring managers on the recruiting process and their involvement in the process
- Create comprehensive job descriptions based on manager and Company specifications
- Recruit the most qualified candidates by:
- Use Company approved recruitment sources
- Project Company needs and building strong applicant pools before a need arises
- Design creative and effective recruitment tools
- Partnering with the Human Resource team
- Select the most qualified candidates for interviews by:
- Understand industry standards to ensure that we are using best practices
- Review all applicants and select candidates that will move forward in the interview process based on meeting pre-employment requirements, qualifications, skills, and abilities
- Perform phone interviews and reference checks.
- Keep accurate records of recruiting sources used and applicant log tracking.
- Solicit feedback to improve the hiring process, reduce turnover, and improve talent acquisition. Meet the performance metrics as defined by the Company.

- A broad knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law
- Individual must be highly organized with ability to accurately document information
- The desire to work with and develop new and innovative recruitment tools

- Self-confidence combined with the willingness to learn and apply new skills, terminology, and concepts as they apply to the recruiting process
- Must be available to work a flexible work schedule due to the availability of candidates. (Occasional nights and weekends and plus 40 hours may be required)
- Ability to build strong relationships and positively influence candidates and colleagues.
- Present a positive image of Heritage-Crystal Clean to fellow employees, external contacts, the general public
- 2-5 years full cycle/high volume recruitment experience preferred, or equivalent education and work experience
- Knowledge of rules and regulations surrounding Affirmative Action programs as outlined by the OFCCP
- Bachelor's Degree in human resources or related field preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with ATS (applicant tracking system) and external job boards necessary
- Previous experience with HRIS preferred
