Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is a critical role in helping TES achieve both culture and revenue driven goals. They are dynamic, performance, and results driven, specializing in sourcing, attracting, and hiring electricians, apprentices, office staff, and management candidates. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruiting for skilled trades, particularly within the electrical industry, and will play a critical role in ensuring our company has access to top-tier talent. The TAS is responsible for identifying candidates primarily through the sourcing and screening processes, building a robust pipeline of candidates to fulfill business needs. This position will work primarily with the HR and Hiring managers, who will navigate hiring needs and markets to further build relationships. The TAS is expected to have a creative spirit, demonstrating initiative to explore markets, opportunities to connect with candidates or resources that will facilitate a pipeline of talent. This position will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from identifying candidates, screening them, coordinating interviews with hiring managers, and ensuring that all candidates are vetted through our Core Values. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will identify and fulfill a variety of needs in various markets and departments within the organization. It is essential to build relationships with both internal and external candidates to ensure staffing goals are achieved, and that align with company standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred, but relevant experience can substitute.
- Minimum of 3 years of recruiting/talent acquisition experience, with at least 1-2 years focused on skilled trades recruitment (electricians preferred).
- Proven track record of successfully recruiting electricians or other skilled trades for residential, commercial, or industrial projects, as well as successful retention of hires
- Strong understanding of the electrical industry, including knowledge of certifications (e.g., journeyman, master electrician), as well as key indicators for a successful office/management candidate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
- Ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in recruitment tools such as applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and industry-specific platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
