We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Permanent TAG Tax Manager for a hybrid role in our fast-paced finance department. This is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking team and play a pivotal role in managing complex tax issues, mergers and acquisitions, international tax matters, and tax-efficient structuring. If you have a knack for managing tax associates, dealing with high net worth clients, and have a strong understanding of 1120S, CCH, Tax Review, Corporations, and Federal & State Tax, we encourage you to apply. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent TAG Tax Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing complex tax issues, ensuring compliance, and providing innovative tax planning and consulting expertise.
2. Leading and managing tax associates, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
3. Handling mergers and acquisitions, and providing tax-efficient structuring advice.
4. Managing international tax matters, including but not limited to transfer pricing, tax treaties, and cross-border transactions.
5. Providing tax consulting services to high net worth clients, ensuring their financial affairs are managed in the most tax-efficient manner.
6. Preparing and reviewing 1120S, and handling all matters related to CCH, Tax Review, Corporations, Federal & State Tax.
7. Developing and implementing strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.
8. Managing and coordinating tax audits and resolving tax notices efficiently.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Permanent TAG Tax Manager position, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a tax manager or public accountant role.
3. Proven experience in managing complex tax issues, mergers and acquisitions, international tax matters, and tax-efficient structuring.
4. Demonstrated experience in managing tax associates and working with high net worth clients.
5. Solid knowledge of 1120S, CCH, Tax Review, Corporations, Federal & State Tax.
6. Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. A commitment to continuous learning and development in a rapidly changing tax environment.
