Job Details
We are looking for a skilled Tableau Developer to join our team as a Visualization and Reporting Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing Tableau dashboards, as well as converting ROPS (Reporting Operations) reports into Tableau visualizations. You will play a critical role in structuring data, designing intuitive and impactful visualizations, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of reporting systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Tableau Dashboard Development: Design and develop interactive and visually appealing Tableau dashboards to effectively communicate complex data insights and metrics. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and create customized dashboards tailored to specific business needs.
Data Structuring and Modeling: Work closely with data engineers and analysts to structure, clean, and prepare data for visualization in Tableau. Perform data modeling and optimization to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage, and maintain data integrity and consistency across reporting systems.
Maintenance and Optimization: Proactively monitor and maintain existing Tableau dashboards to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and usability. Identify areas for improvement and optimization, implement enhancements, and troubleshoot issues as needed to meet business requirements.
ROPS Reporting Conversions: Lead the conversion of ROPS reports and legacy reporting systems into Tableau visualizations. Analyze existing reports, identify key metrics and data sources, and redesign reports using Tableau to improve visualization, interactivity, and accessibility.
Documentation and Training: Document best practices, standards, and guidelines for Tableau development and reporting processes. Provide training and support to users and stakeholders on Tableau functionalities, features, and best practices to promote self-service analytics and reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
3+ years of experience in Tableau development, data visualization, and reporting.
Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep Builder.
Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, and SQL.
Experience with ROPS reporting systems and conversion projects is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive and actionable Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
