Windows/Linux Systems Administrator

Pay From: $55.00 per hour
MUST:
Active Secret clearance required
Experienced Windows Systems Administrator
10 years experience managing and implementing Windows Server, Windows SharePoint Server and Linux environments is required.
10 years experience scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Terraform is required.
5 years experience with management and configuration of networking devices including routers, firewalls, switches, etc. is required.
Experience in designing and implementing GovCloud solutions, with expertise in one or more cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is required.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Windows Server, Linux Server, CompTIA Network+, Security+ or equivalent, VMware Certified Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.) are required.
Access to a Government SIPR connection is required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
DUTIES:
Administer, monitor, and maintain servers, networks, and other IT systems.
Ensure the availability, performance, and security of systems through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
Install and integrate applications within an AWS Cloud Based and On-Prem environment, including Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SharePoint Server and other commercial (COTS) products.
Create and maintain interfaces to external systems.
Design, implement, and manage IT infrastructure to support the organization's growth and technological advancements. Provision AWS Govcloud secret area infrastructure including network and servers.
Collaborate with other IT professionals to plan and execute system upgrades and enhancements.
Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard systems and data.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Provide technical support, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.
Collaborate with the helpdesk team to resolve escalated support tickets
Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss in both an AWS Cloud Hosted and On-Prem system.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
