Contingent upon contract award.
Qualified Systems Engineering Technician IV needed for our Charleston, S.C location.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology, math, or science; or
- Formal electronics training from a Technical School, Class A or B military school in electronics or communications, or a four-year electronics apprentice program; or
- High School diploma or GED.
- Five (5) years with a degree/formal training or Seven (7) years with a High School diploma/GED of practical experience, including design, preparation, and modification of engineering documents and drawings.
- Experience in constructing components, subunits, or simple models, troubleshooting and correcting malfunctions, and performing assignments that require independent work, with oversight as needed.
- Secret clearance required.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Light to moderate lifting may be required.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required.
