About the Role:
The Systems Engineering Technical Program Manager (SETPM) is responsible for the technical integrity, quality and on-time delivery of the Systems Engineering products. The SETPM is responsible for the System requirements decomposition, traceability, and compliance, requirements allocations, functional architecture development, management of system/sub-system level Interfaces and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs). The SETPM is responsible for the planning, preparation and execution of all design related gate reviews with support from the CE and LSE.

Responsibilities to Anticipate for this role:
Lead resolution of all technical open issues during development ensuring robust technical delivery of program milestones on-time.
Lead all technical trade studies using Systems Engineering methods, tools and processes to a state of decision readiness for program leadership.
Lead arbitration of requirement decomposition and assignment conflicts to ensure technical robustness and efficiency.
Chairs the program Systems Engineering Integration Team (SEIT) and provides Systems Engineering leadership to SE, DDE, and IPTs.
Responsible for all SE planning (including SEMP, test and verification plan) on the project.
Responsible for applying and/or tailoring organizational processes to meet the specific requirements and constraints (cost and schedule) of the project.
Responsible for the review of the Requirements Compliance Matrix (RCM).
Responsible for Design Verification and Validation.
Responsible for system prototype integration planning and execution.
Co-chairs the Engineering Review Board (ERB) (including DDMs, PRs, Risk).
Lead for requirements decisions.
Coordinates execution of all Systems Engineering activities and product deliverables (CDRLs).
Leads development milestone Checkpoint Reviews as well as entry/exit criteria and readiness to proceed to SE technical reviews.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Sought:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Discipline required.
Master's degree in Engineering and/or MBA, preferred
10+ years of relevant work experience, including advanced degree and university research
(Fewer years will be considered with an advanced degree.)
Experience in leading cross-functional design, development and integration of complex syst
