Systems Engineer at Sparks Group

Job Summary/Company: We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with a background in Department of Defense (DoD) projects. This role focuses on designing and managing cloud-based communication systems in compliance with DoD standards. This position is onsite in Washington DC.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and integrate cloud-based communication system architectures in alignment with DoD requirements.
• Conduct system analysis, modeling, and risk assessments to ensure reliable and secure operations.
• Document system designs, prepare technical reviews, and support system integration, testing, and validation processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on DoD projects, including cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and standards, with experience in systems integration and formal DoD documentation.

This job is Hybrid Remote.

Pay Range: Salary $150,000.00 to $166,000.00
