Position Overview:
The Integrated Systems Division seeks a Senior Systems Engineer in Aurora, Colorado, to contribute to the maintenance and development of the CEGS system, a real-time operational SIGINT processor. As a crucial member of our team, you will support the deployment of CEGS applications across various locations, ensuring seamless operations and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will hold a TS/SCI clearance with a current Polygraph (within 5 years).
Clearance Requirement:
Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and Polygraph (US Citizenship required).
Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor and administer Linux systems for CEGS across multiple deployment locations.
Investigate and resolve system issues while installing new software baselines.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, developers, and customers to ensure project success.
Contribute to the modernization of our architecture with cloud and containerization expertise.
Design and implement deployment strategies, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the CEGS system.
Basic Qualifications:
TS/SCI clearance with a current Polygraph (within 5 years).
Proficiency in Linux operating systems (RedHat / CentOS or equivalent).
Experience with OS patching, automated scripting, and virtualized environments.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Atlassian tools.
Knowledge of Information Assurance (IA) and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Exposure to Containerization and Container Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Current Security+ certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) certification.
Expertise in LDAP installation, Red Hat Satellite, and automation tools.
Familiarity with network administration, hardware, and database management.
Experience with AWS, Apache httpd, and ActiveMQ.
Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
