SUMMARY
Our Engineers perform IT network implementations, upgrades, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support for our growing client base of 60+ organizations. Our projects employ the latest technologies to provide our clients with the most reliable, business-grade solutions on the market. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform Help Desk support for Windows-based systems
- Configure and deploy windows PC's
- Provide support for new applications and upgrades to existing systems
- Create and implement solutions to technical problems and implementation of new systems or infrastructure changes
- Apply critical systems updates and patches to maintain functionality and security
- Monitor critical systems and take corrective actions prior to failure
- Prepare for disaster recovery and ensure that appropriate backups are completed and tested
- Troubleshoot software and hardware failures and identify network problems
- Establish and maintain security and integrity controls
- Effectively execute service offerings and communicate their value to clients
- Assume responsibility for on-time and efficient customer service
- Participate in recurring on-call rotation for afterhours support.
- Assist with new client onboarding and system documentation
- Assist project team with IT equipment installation & configuration
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field), or relevant work experience
- 4+ years technical experience with increasing responsibility
- Experience with Windows-based production environments
- Ability to assess a broad range of technologies including LAN/WAN, VPN, IPD, and overall network and systems management
- Understanding and administration of network services (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, etc.)
- Windows PC deployment in Windows/Active Directory envionments
- Excellent customer service, communication, written and organizational skills
- Ambition to succeed as a Team Player
- Motivation to meet company defined goals
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle for transportation
SCHEDULE AND HIRING PROCESS
This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position, based at our headquarters in Eugene, OR.
The interview process is generally broken into three (3) parts:
- Phone call pre-screening
- Phone call interview with one or more of our executive team members
- Phone call or In-person interview with one or more of our executive team members
